Joe's Garage offers 1 hour complementary wifi in Queenstown.

They also have deals like $6 coffee + cake. So I tried their date cake with moccachino - it's pretty good value considering I would have paid about $10 otherwise in another cafe PLUS pay for another $5 internet.

The downside is the location. It's in one of the backstreets and there's no view but that of the back of building which isn't very pleasant.

There's enough sun on some areas of the cafe. I can sense some good value breakfast being served as well.

Overall it's a good deal and I can visit them again next time.

Rees St Deli Best in Queenstown

Great stuff.
Great price.

Mochaccino here is very reasonably priced. Morning coffee with free newspaper is a treat for a person seeking inspiration.

Pleasant 2nd floor location. Captures a lot of sun.

Yes I recommend this place :)

It can be a bit tricky to find us as we are on the first floor on the corner above the Roxy and Quiksilver shop. Come up the stairs where it's warm, the sun pours in , great views and really friendly service from Sam and his staff. Our freshly made food is all prepared here in our kitchen using only the best and freshest. Choose from the cabinet or our chef can whip you up a treat from the menu. Our deli has yummy cheeses and other treats to take home.

Vudu Cafe, Queenstown New Zealand

Vudu cafe is a small cafe in Queenstown CBD. It's actually a franchise as you can see a couple of store locations - one in front of the lake and one beside the Queenstown Mall. I like Vudu's simple look and feel. I like the coffee as well, reasonably priced at $4.5 for a huge cup.
Issue with Queenstown is that there's basically NO cafe that offers free internet which actually works. That's what tourists need to deal with.
Once I had a talk with an American tourist from Maine. She said she and her husband are very frustrated that they can't even access his email to tell her kids how much fun they are having.
But then again, savor the moment. That's what Queenstown is about.

Handmade Chocolate - Patagonia, Queenstown New Zealand

 Patagonia is a small chocolate business based in Queenstown New Zealand. It's the only cafe in Queenstown offering free wifi internet.

Twice a week, I visit Patagonia during my stay in Queenstown.

Why?
It's certainly not because of the coffee - it costs a whopping $5.5 for a moccachino there.

It's not because of the chocolate either.

It's because of the extremely beautiful location - in front of the lake - Lake Wakatipu.

It's also because it offers free wifi - albeit slow and you can only check email...
